You can get light coverage of grey hair with Logona herbal hair colours. You may need to first coat your hair with a brown shade and apply several layers please read the info page on Covering Grey

*The Henna Black and Henna Black intense shades are designed for darkening brown hair and they are not suitable for colouring white hair as it can give a bluish tint on white hair. However it may be applied to white hair if it is mixed with other shades such as brown umber.

Please note that this type of natural dyes without chemicals cannot radically change in your hair colour - it is difficult for white hair to become a dark colour. You cannot lighten your hair with natural dyes.

Whether you want the dye to add depth or a subtle nuance to your existing colour, or to change your hair colour altogether, these natural hair dyes do the job without damaging your natural hair structure. The henna and other herbal ingredients coat your hair and increase volume, strengthen, condition and make your hair more glossy.

A Logona Herbal Hair Color combines with your individual hair color and hair structure to produce an individual colour result not completely predictable. Fine or very light hair typically binds the hair color quicker and more intensively than thicker or darker hair.

Mixing Herbal Hair Colour Powders - These powders are mixed with hot water and prepared in a similar way to natural henna colourants. Many users achieve unique and beautiful color results by mixing two or three hair colors together. Especially in the red and brown color ranges all imaginable nuances are possible. Mixtures of golden blonde and sahara produce many variations in the golden to reddish range.

Also common among many users is to mix a small amount of Henna Black into a base of Mahogany, Chestnut Brown, or Walnut Brown to darken the color result.

Applying heat after applying the dye, such as with a hairdryer, will strengthen the colour. You can also mix black tea with the powders to achieve a darker colour.

Please note that 100% natural hair colourants will never perform in the same way as chemical hair dyes. If you put a dark colour on top of light coloured hair it will give a lighter result than if you had used a chemical dye - this is because they work by coating your hair with a transparent film and the lighter colour will show through to some extent - as shown on the Logona hair colour chart. To achieve stronger colour more applications can be applied allowing at least 12 hours between colouring. Grey in particular because of its unique structure and chemistry will often require more than one application to cover it.

I use this organic henna every 5 or 6 weeks or so. It keeps my hair (mostly grey now) in good colour and condition. Highly recommended

Herbal hair dye

I was looking for herbal dye which I am glad I’ve found it.My hair is no longer dry and the colour is perfectly what I wanted.

Didn’t cover grey enough

I’m sure it’s good for the hair but didn’t cover nearly enough greying hair which was why it was bought., pity.. Good company to order from and it arrived quickly will use again for other products. So recommend.

Did the job

I brought this because my grey hair was coming through I had to have something natural has I am having chymotherepy at the moment and cannot put anything chemical on my hair, easy to mix and put on hair but the down side when washing it off felt like I had a bucket of sand on my hair took about 40mins to fully get it off, and amazingly my grey hairs was gone, yes I would recommend and would use again

Chestnut colour does not match

Although the website reassures that their henna products are formulated to produce subtle coulours it doesn't .I follow the instructions and ended up with red hair I could have got from simple henna at a much cheaper price than the over £12 this cost with postage.I bought another - less 'natural ' product to try and cover it up but of course the red shines through >Basically I have paid £12 + to ruin my hair for the months I have to wait for it to grow out.Though I am considering shaving it all off.
